Had a week at the Catlins caught a 1kg brown. Joe caught a smaller one and Jenny a bigger one. All in the Owaka. Went up to the Wisp (Catlins) Jen got a follow. Matt caught 10(!) at Tawanui lower down. At the Wispo we came across an angler who had caught a couple but way up stream, beyond the beech forest.
Today went along the Tengawai from "Two bridge pool" up to Tengawai Rd bridge. Saw a couple but no interest
